The conversation I would like to expand on this month is from an Uber driver. He is of the opinion that “they” are up to something big. His reasoning is that there have been a succession of really big, shocking stories, such as dark forces being released from the cracking of Japan’s killing stone, monkey pox and several others he listed off that I don’t recall at the moment. All of these have been met with mostly global apathy. He feels that people are being conditioned to ignore these stories so that when the something really big happens, we will all ignore it.

So. The first premise is that “they” would do something awful. Since I am the person who has been trying to convince the world of OpDeathEaters topics for well over a decade, that’s not a hard sell. The second premise, however, is that “they” have the brain power to come up with something big. A long time ago, I asked readers to please start watching the behaviour of those on yachts and private jets instead of celebrities. Over the last few years, due largely to the overconfidence of “them”, people have finally gotten a much more intimate knowledge of “them”. “They” are definitely criminal, disgusting, sadistic and amoral but intelligent? “They” are people like Boris Johnson, Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Not the brightest lights in town. But what about the super scary spies, you ask? You mean like this guy? Again. Not the sharpest tools in the shed. I am very willing to believe that these people distributed HIV, ignored (or more) the ebola outbreak, used Covid for political gain and anything else you like – but they don’t usually have a very full understanding even of what they are doing, much less the ability to mastermind anything imaginative. Xi, Putin, Biden, who among them has the slightest grasp of the world in 2023?

Still, the driver was right. Nihilism appears to be all the rage. So what is happening?
